What We Believe

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, and the only, infallible Word of God.
(2 Peter 1: 20-21) (2 Timothy 3: 16-17)

We believe that there is one God, existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19) (John 10:30) ( 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that Jesus is the Divine Son of God who was virgin born, bodily crucified, resurrected and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
(Matthew 1:18-25) ( Luke 1:35) ( Isaiah 7:14) (Mark 16:19)

We believe salvation comes through Jesus, and the way of being cleansed from sin is through the acceptance of the blood sacrifice of Christ and obedience to God.
(Ephesians 1:7) (Hebrews 9:22) (1 John 1:7) (Acts 22:16)

We believe in the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit, and that all believers should be immersed.
(John 3:5) (2 Corinthians 5:17) (Ephesians 4:23) (Titus 3:5)

We believe in the personal indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the Intercession of Jesus Christ that enables us to be steadfast in faith.
( Romans 8:9-11) Romans 8:26-27) (John 14:16-17) Hebrews 7:25)

We believe in the Blessed Hope where Jesus will come again and take His Bride, the Church, to be with Him.
(Titus 2:13) (1Thessalonians 4:17) (John 14:1-3) (Revelation 19: 7-9)

We believe in the resurrection of all people, the saved to life forever with God, the unsaved to life forever separated from God.
(John 3:16) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) (Revelation 20:14) (Acts 24:15)

We believe the Lord’s Supper is to be offered at each Worship Service with the bread and cup proclaiming the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord.
(Corinthians 11:23-26) ( Matthew 26:26-28) ( Mark 14:22-25)

We believe men and women are co-equals in Christ. Both are to serve in all areas of ministry that have Biblical precedent.
(Genesis 1:27) (Acts 2:17-18) (1 Corinthians 12: 4-11) (Galatians 3:28)

We believe that all grace gifts are available today and that they are to be used in the manner that uplifts and edifies the body.
(1 Corinthians 12:4-14) (Romans 12:4-8) (Ephesians 4:7-16)
